In French, love songs Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal, the official choir of the Oratory Saint-Joseph in Montreal, presented a concert of French Canadian religious and secular music at St. Ann’s Art & Cultural Center in Woonsocket yesterday. Above, musical director and choirmaster Gilbert Patenaude conducts one of his original pieces ” Trois chants de Lumière. “ At right, Zacharie LeGault sings out the ” Hymn to Freedom, ” by Oscar Peterson.
